The activity carried out by S. CARFIL, at the Vlădeni Warehouse, falls under the provisions of Law no. 59/2016 on the control of major accident hazards involving dangerous substances, being classified as major risk.
The company prepared and submitted to the competent territorial authorities (the Agency for the Protection of the Environment Brașov, the Environmental Guard – SCJ Brașov and the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations Brașov) the Notification regarding the identification of hazardous substances present on the site, according to art. 7 ahn. (l) of Law no. 59/2016.
The activity carried out within the Vlădeni Warehouse consists of the storage of explosive products and materials belonging to the Central State Office for Special Problems.
The existing warehouses on the site are located within the warehouse premises, are sealed, monitored daily and are surrounded by grassy and wooded earth waves of a height greater than or equal to the height of the building. The warehouses are equipped with fire extinguishing means.
The security of the warehouse is ensured by the County Inspectorate of the Brașov Gendarmerie, with trained personnel equipped with weapons and ammunition.
Complementary activities:
– clearing the vegetation, to ensure good visibility and prevent the generation of fires;
– specific activities for preventing and extinguishing fires.
