For over 100 years
July 1922 – Establishment of the company under the name “Dumitru Voinea Machines and Foundry Factory”;
1922 – 1936 – Rolling stock repair activities are initiated;
1936 – 1944 – Foundry, hot pressing, blacksmithing and cardboard activities are developed;
1944 – 1948 – Part of the production capacities are used for the repair and manufacture of agricultural machinery and tools;
1948 – 1952 – The production of kitchen furniture and fittings begins;
1952 – 1965 – The production of fittings, gas meters, bicycle engines develops;
1965 – 1998 – The manufacturing profile was diversified by producing carburetors, filters, pumps, presses, stands, special machine tools;
1998 – 2003 – A complex program to modernize the cast iron foundry is underway;
2005 – The production of NATO compatible weapons and ammunition is developed;
2006 – The activity of providing service and maintenance services for armaments in peacekeeping areas is developed.
